My AP 3D Studio Art portfolio is due THIS Friday, so I have spent a lot of time photographing this week! I'm sharing a picture of the bisqued donut I threw last week! I'm summiting a picture of it unglazed because it is part of my theme, but I may glaze it after.

I have three vases in various stages, a bowl that is being detailed, and lots of projects that need to be glazed. One of the finished vases is pictured below and will be part of a set of three vases. The bowl I'm currently working on is wheel thrown sea-mix with a layer of red clay that I'm carving out to give the bowl a two toned effect- pictures to come.
A new week and more projects! I will be working on my set of three vases and catching up on grading a bunch of previous works! Various pictures of projects I've just finished:
I have gotten many projects done this week! Feeling good and planning to do more glazing this week. I'm also planning to through a large bowl and do a honeycomb pattern and another slab with dots this week! Week two has been fun! My goal for this year has been to try to loosen up my projects and stop throwing so uniformly. I'm using natural and organic inspiration from hear on out! This week I threw a bowl/ vase project seen below! I'll probably foot tomorrow and then I want to make a vase out of two thrown projects that are connected!
Hey all!I will be throwing more wheel projects now that I have a period dedicated to it! My first semester back I started AP and tried a lot of new techniques that were mostly not thrown. Head over to the AP tab to check out awesome slabs, and weird sculptures! In the next few months i'm hoping to integrate the two classes. This week was getting back into the spin of things and I threw my tall project (see below)!
