These are my wheel thrown set of 3. The first project is half light blue and clear, and is small bowl. The next is a short vase, bowl like project and is glazed partially in clear and partially in green. The last was supposed to be a vase, but the lip broke off so i just smoothed it out on top. It is glazed in clear and orange. The glaze really brings them together because each is part clear, and part another color, and although the colors contrast, the clear glaze ties them together.
This is a wheel thrown cylinder with an altered top. It is glazed in light blue, light green, and dark blue. The top lip is altered and is pinched out from 4 different points. Knowing this I went for a distinct contrast, and glazed vertically in 3 different colors, which highlights the glazes and the lip of the project.
This is a thrown vase that I consider to be fairly tall. It is glazed in a highlighter yellow, with clear over the top, and the glaze ended up having a texture that resembles a spider web. It also has a small cutout at the top that you could rest a spoon in. The delicate, thin lined texture really contrasts with the loud yellow glaze.
